A Short History
How We Started
Indie Lyndale is the founder of First Aid Cardiff, a family run business that has been teaching first aid for over 15 years. Indie has a background in mountaineering, teaching, and lecturing, with over 30 years of experience.
She was frustrated by the dull and ineffective training courses she had to attend, and she decided to make a change!
Saving lives is a serious matter, and good training can make a big difference in an emergency. Inspired by a desire to train people in skills that count, she developed a variety of award winning courses that have built a fantastic reputation all over the UK.
A Practical Approach
Engaging First Aid Training
First Aid Cardiff teaches first aid in a new and exciting way. Our courses are fun and interactive, using realistic scenarios to help you learn. You will get to practice the skills you need in a safe and supportive setting, while learning the theory behind them.
You will leave our courses feeling confident and ready to use your new skills. Many of our trainees come back for more training, and share their stories of how they used their skills in real life situations.

Indie Lyndale
Head Instructor
Indie is our founder and head instructor, and she ensures our standards are second to none. She has more than 30 years of experience in teaching and mountaineering, and she uses her unique expertise to shape not only her courses, but our whole curriculum.
Claire Lyndale
CFO
Claire is our CFO and she makes sure our finances run as perfectly as a Swiss train timetable. She has a key role in keeping our prices fair, and making sure our team are always well-prepared and ready to teach excellent first aid courses.
Oliver Lyndale
CEO
Oli is our CEO and a vital part of the First Aid Cardiff family. He has a lot of experience in business development and logistics, which has helped us to become one of the best first aid training providers in the UK.

Helen is the power house that keeps our whole world in orbit.
She makes sure, every last customer and member of our team knows exactly what is going on!

Georgina Bevans
First Aid Instructor
Georgina is one of our latest additions to the First Aid Cardiff team, and we are very happy to have her. She is not only an excellent first aid trainer, but also a working ambulance paramedic. She uses her skills and experience from her job to enrich her teaching.

Richard is one of the original members of First Aid Cardiff, and he teaches many of our courses. He knows everything there is about first aid, and he makes the training experience engaging and practical every time.
