The 2 Day Outdoor First Aid course is recognised by all outdoor governing bodies, eg M.L.T.U.K, R.Y.A, B.U, B.A.S.I. and exceeds the expectations of a 16 hour course syllabus.

What This Course Covers
First aid is a crucial skill for anyone who works or spends time in the outdoors. You may have to treat an injury or save a life when help is far away.
We have years of experience in delivering high-quality and engaging outdoor courses. Our outdoor first aid courses have been devised by our head instructors who have backgrounds in international mountaineering and tactical conflict medicine. This course is very practical and we use scenario training to reinforce learning and build real confidence and empower candidates to act when emergencies arise.
Challenging and stressful situations can get worse when you are in harsh environments or unpredictable weather. Having the right skill set can make the difference between life and death for you and others around you.
This 2-day Outdoor First Aid Course in south Wales is an advanced course for individuals who work as instructors or teachers in outdoors, remote or foreign environments or for individuals who work or spend time in remote locations and want to improve their abilities in first aid. This course surpasses the recommendations of the HSE 2-Day Outdoor First Aid course syllabus and is valid for 3 years.
This qualification goes beyond the syllabus requirements of the national standard 16 hour outdoor course and is recognised by all main outdoor governing bodies for instructors. Qualification
Your 2 Day Outdoor First Aid qualification will be valid for 3 years from the date that you complete your training. If you wish to renew your certificate you will need to attend another 16 hour, 2 Day Outdoor First Aid course.
This qualification is a nationally recognised, accredited qualification. At First Aid Cardiff we exceed the requirements of a course provider as set by the HSE.

In 2013, the HSE deregulated the first aid industry so there is no longer any requirement for externally regulated certification. In some very specific instances for specialist environments, external regulation is requested so if this is something you require you must bring this to our attention before making a booking and we can advise accordingly.
Private Groups
We are happy to run any of our first aid training courses as private groups at either your venue or one of our training centers in Cardiff.
