First Aid Training Courses

1.1 Payment of course fees confirms your acceptance of these booking conditions and secures your place on the selected course.

1.2 Any request to change or reschedule a confirmed course date will be treated as a cancellation, and the cancellation and refund terms outlined below will apply. This reflects commitments already made to instructors and venues.

1.3 First Aid Cardiff reserves the right to cancel or rearrange courses where necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. Where this occurs, we will notify participants as soon as reasonably possible and work with you to arrange suitable alternative dates.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1 Course bookings may be cancelled at any time, subject to the following refund conditions:

• Cancellations made more than 10 full days before the course start date will receive a full refund, minus a £10 administration fee

• Cancellations made between 10 and 4 days before the course date will receive a 50% refund

• Cancellations made within 3 full days of the course start date are non-refundable

2.2 Participant substitutions are permitted at no additional cost, provided the replacement attendee meets the course eligibility requirements.

Participant Qualifications

3.1 Learners enrolling on qualification-based courses should be aware that certification is awarded only where the required level of knowledge, understanding, and practical competence is demonstrated. While First Aid Cardiff is committed to delivering high-quality training and fair assessment, attendance alone does not guarantee qualification.

General Terms

4.1 All training courses are delivered in accordance with current Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance. Course content may be updated at any time to reflect changes in standards or best practice, and we accept no liability arising from such updates.

4.2 Course prices and specifications are accurate at the time of publication but may be amended without prior notice.

4.3 You agree to provide any information reasonably required to enable us to deliver the agreed services.

4.4 Except in cases of fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, our liability is limited to direct losses only and shall not exceed the total fees paid for the relevant course. We accept no liability for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business, or goodwill.

4.5 No amendment to these terms shall be valid unless confirmed in writing by a director of First Aid Cardiff.

4.6 These terms take precedence over any other terms you may attempt to apply, including those contained within purchase orders or booking confirmations. Any variation must be agreed in writing by a director.

4.7 First Aid Cardiff reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
